A note from the New owners
I joined the Harry’s team as a bartender in October 2016, just before the original location of Harry’s Alehouse opened. I quickly became a believer in the brand and the direction of the company, and I knew I wanted to take on a larger role. After two years, I had the privilege of becoming the General Manager. During COVID, I was invited to become a Managing Partner.
As a team, we decided to open a second location in the heart of Downtown Fredericksburg, where I served as Managing Partner until January 2024. At that point, I decided to step back and hand the reins to my assistant so I could continue supporting the downtown store as a consultant and outside investor. In March 2025, we made the decision to purchase the remaining interest in Harry’s Downtown. I fully intend to help carry this restaurant into the future, bringing our vision to life while honoring the brand that’s played such a big role in our journey.
Outside of the restaurant, my full-time job is as a business insurance advisor. My wife, Lacy, supports the restaurant when she’s not busy raising our wild kids and managing all the behind-the-scenes details that keep our family running smoothly. Together with our children—Summit and Harbor—we're thrilled to be business owners in downtown Fredericksburg and to continue the legacy of this incredible local brand.
Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships in the beer world and developed a growing passion for whiskey and mixology. Whether it’s cooking, hosting private whiskey and beer events, connecting with guests, or even washing dishes, I believe that restaurants succeed only when the entire team works together to deliver the experience our customers expect and deserve.
After 15 years in the industry, I’ve learned that every guest and every day matters. Our mission is to provide an exceptional experience—from the host stand to the bar to the kitchen—while offering the freshest, most sought-after beer we can get our hands on, and serving food that’s as thoughtful as it is delicious.
Lacy and I love this restaurant, this city, and the community we’re proud to be part of. When we’re not working, we enjoy growing our little farmette, chasing chickens, sharing great beer, whiskey, and cider with friends, investing in our kids, and serving our community however we can.
